  • Neutral tones always photograph beautifully, no matter the season - think whites, creams, lace, linen, khaki, and soft pops of color like gentle blues, sage, or blush pink. Richer hues like reds, purples, and darker shades can sometimes affect skin tones. For mom, flowy maxi dresses are comfortable, flattering for every body type, and especially lovely postpartum.

  • A true newborn session happens within the first two weeks of your baby’s life. As babies settle into longer wakeful periods after those early days, those sweet sleepy poses can become a bit trickier. Every baby is unique, and some may start these longer awake stretches a little sooner - but we’ll capture the magic of these earliest moments no matter what.

  • Absolutely! Those little moments of sibling silliness often create the sweetest smiles and belly laughs. 

  • As a mama myself, I completely understand those moments when nothing seems to be working and the little ones are just fussy - and that’s perfectly okay. I come prepared with playful toys, a fun (mom-approved) treat, and plenty of patience. My goal is for you to enjoy the session while we gently capture your children in their own time. Don’t worry - they’ll be ready before you know it, and we’ll capture the magic when they are.

  • Absolutely! Feel free to bring anything meaningful you’d like included in your session—whether maternity, newborn, or family portraits. I love weaving in the special details that make your story uniquely yours.
