What to Expect

These sessions with a newborn or busy baby are slow and designed at their pace.

Don’t worry about feeding breaks, for you and baby, we’ll take whatever time we need to help make them comfortable and settled (but not too long either)! I’ve been working with newborns and children for over 10 years, nothing they do will bother me and I am prepared to win them over for at least one smile!

Fresh-48 Session

This session is for the very beginning, the youngest your baby will ever be. You’re still in the hospital or birthing center, cradling that tiny miracle you’ve waited months to meet. Fresh 48 sessions preserve the real, raw beauty of these first hours together. Their soft newborn skin, the vernix still clinging to their cheeks, the wrinkled toes, curled fingers, and the way their little body fits perfectly in your arms. It’s the story of your very first days of motherhood, captured before the blur of time begins.

Styled Newborn

A newborn session is a gentle pause within the first two weeks of your baby’s life, when everything still feels brand new. Unlike the raw, in-hospital moments of a Fresh 48, these sessions have a more styled, timeless feel, often with mom and dad dressed a little finer while still nestled in the comfort of home. We’ll capture the tender details of your baby’s nursery, the sweetness of sibling(s) welcoming their newest playmate,, and the quiet joy of parents soaking in their tiny miracle. It’s a heartfelt reflection of those early days, wrapped in love and the coziness of your own home.

The Legacy Collection

The Legacy Collection is a journey through your baby’s first year: a story told in three chapters. Created for new mamas (or mamas-to-be), this collection holds onto every milestone you’ll never want to forget: those first tender newborn days, the sweet stage of sitting up and discovering the world, the giggles and curiosity (around six or seven months), and, before you can blink, the joy of celebrating their very first birthday.
